Ingredients
  

Oatmeal Base

  • 1 cup Oats Rolled oats recommended
  • 2 cups Milk (or water) for cooking oats Use milk for creaminess or water for a lighter option

Toppings

  • 1 large Banana Use ripe bananas for best flavor
  • 1 cup Granola Choose your favorite variety
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt Can be Greek or regular yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Almond butter Can substitute with peanut butter if preferred
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar Optional for caramelization
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Optional for flavor enhancement

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a pot, combine oats and milk (or water) and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer until oats are cooked, about 5 minutes.
  • While oats are cooking, slice the banana and caramelize it with a little brown sugar in a pan over medium heat until golden brown.

Serving

  • Once the oats are ready, serve in a bowl topped with the caramelized banana, granola, yogurt, and a drizzle of almond butter.

Notes

This oatmeal can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat with a splash of milk or water before serving. Additional toppings like nuts, seeds, or other fruits are great for customization.
