Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional add-ins: 1/4 cup chopped spinach, 1/3 cup steamed broccoli, or 1/4 cup halal turkey bacon bits

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the can of crescent roll dough, and separate into 8 triangles.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Fold in any optional add-ins if using.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the chicken filling onto each dough triangle, leaving a small border.
  • Fold the dough over the filling to form a crescent shape. Press edges firmly to seal.
  • Place the stuffed crescents on a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie or leftover cooked chicken for convenience.
Jarred Alfredo sauce works well, or you can make a quick homemade version with butter, cream of mushroom soup, and Parmesan.
Store uncooked Crescents in the fridge for up to 1 day. Reheat in the oven for 10–12 minutes.
