  • 1 cup water Used to make the syrup
  • 2 large ripe mangos (peeled and diced) Use very ripe mangos for best flavor

For the Tea

  • 6 cups water For boiling and steeping the tea

  • Combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Add the diced mangos to the saucepan. Let this mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and strain the syrup to get rid of the mango pieces.

Prepare the Tea

  • Boil 6 cups of water in another pot. Once boiling, add the tea bags and steep for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.

Mix and Serve

  • Mix the cooled tea with the mango syrup. Stir well to combine the flavors.
  • Serve over ice and enjoy your refreshing Mango Iced Tea!

Notes

Store any leftover Mango Iced Tea in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Best consumed within 3-5 days. If the flavors become too strong, add some water or ice to dilute it. Garnish with mint leaves or a slice of mango for a touch of color.
