Ingredients

Brownie Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted Use unsalted butter for better control of salt.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs Ensure they are at room temperature.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can be substituted with gluten-free flour.
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Choose high-quality cocoa for a richer taste.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Use ripe strawberries for maximum flavor.

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk Adjust for desired consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (optional, for a brighter pink glaze)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and granulated sugar together.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix until you don’t see any more flour.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Spread it out evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

Making the Glaze

  • While the brownies are baking, make the pink glaze. In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. If you want a brighter color, add a little food coloring.

Finishing Touch

  • Once the brownies are baked and cooled, pour the glaze over the top and let it set.

Notes

To keep your brownies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay good for up to 4 days and can be refrigerated for longer shelf life. Let them come to room temperature before serving again.
